If you are a visitor, you can post an article here.
What are Region, Section, and Topic in the article submission form?
Region is the geographic area your article refers to.
Section is, well, the section, your article refers to.
Topic is the keywords of your article other than the selected terms in previous Region and Section fields.
For example, if your opinion article is about the Gaza conflict, in the Region field, you can choose the continent Middle East, or more specifically, Israel or West Bank & Gaza Strip. In the Section field, you can select Society, or more specifically, War & Conflict. In the topic field, enter one or two keywords, such as Gaza conflict.
Your article will appear in the pages of Region, Section, and Topic you have chosen, if receiving the ten most recommendations in respective categories.
Where is the article I just posted?
Our Index contains all published articles, including the newly submitted ones.
If you are not logged in, it may take 10 minutes before new articles appear in the Index; if logged in, you will see new articles immediately.
Why does a photo appear in an article?
The Globe Opinion uses photos from Flickr.com to accompany certain articles. These photos are under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license.
The Globe Opinion can’t match every article with a photo, due to the workload and the limited number of Flickr photos under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license. Whether having linked a photo to an article or not, The Globe Opinion doesn’t endorse any opinions.
If you are the author of an article and want to remove the photo, please contact us as soon as possible.
